“Culture for Cities and Regions” awarded to Eurocities and KEA
This 1 million Euro project, funded by the Creative Europe programme will run until summer 2017 and aims to:
-Identify good practices in cultural investment throughout the European Union.
-Help selected cities and regions to improve their cultural strategy through coaching and tailored advice.
Around 100 cities and regions across Europe will be invited to take part in the project through open calls for expressions of interest.
“We are looking forward to contributing to this project using our international experience. This is a real occasion to help support the economic and social ambitions of cities in a concrete manner through cultural investment. This project is in line with KEA’s existing work with cities and regions around Europe.” stated Philippe Kern, the founder and managing director of KEA.
